Static analysis of moving skyscraper
Jedlička, Michal ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis is about static analysis of moving skyscraper (inspired by The Dynamic Tower). There is a rotation of each particular floor around its axis independently on each other. In this thesis, moving skyscraper is solved as a whole piece with specialization in the moving floors and their mounting on the core of the building.
The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí
Dvořáková, Eva ; Bambuchová, Jarmila (referee) ; Sochor, Jan (advisor)
The proposed building responds to a chamfered corner of the solved plot by turning the mass of the dining hall on the ground floor and the mass of the student dormitory above it. Under the protruding upper mass arises covered main entrance to the building. The ground floor of the building is directly connected to the adjacent hotel Austerlitz. The higher levels are stepping back from the street front. The mass of the student dormitory respects here the current glass corner on the top floor of the building Austerlitz. The facades to the streets Táborského nábřeží and Vídeňská are covered with a wire mesh to enable the creepers grow on it. There will be gaps in the wire mesh in front of the windows to the student rooms. The student housing is designed as maisonettes. These two storey maisonettes are divided into several groups including 5 to 8 rooms. Each group has its own “living room” and kitchenette.
Algebra of dual quaternions in image analysis
Hrubý, Jan ; Návrat, Aleš (referee) ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work has two goals. Firstly it is to acquaint the reader with the classical use of quaternions and dual quaternions in geometry. Secondly the generalization of the Fourier transform into the set of dual quaternions. At first it goes into algebraic properties and structure of quaternions and ways of their inscriptions. Later dual numbers are introduced and consecutively with their help dual quaternions. Then the work deals with description of rotations and translations using quaternions and dual quaternions, that enable their easy description. Finally the discreet dual quaternion Fourier transform is defined, and for its effective calculation the algorithm is derived, which is then brought into effect as a code in program environment MATLAB.
Flight statements electronic sensor.
Harant, Josef ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with theoretical analysis, design and practical solution of flight statements electronic sensor. This device is primarily intended for measuring telemetry data during aerobatic flights. Theoretical part contains fundamentals of GPS and inertial navigation systems. Design of the device is divided into three parts - design of block structure, construction and software for the measuring device. The final realization is made with respect to minimal system requirements and to possible future extensibility for wider usage spectrum.
Monitoring the effect of fatigue on the quality of selected physical exercises through 3D kinematic analysis.
Smetana, Matěj ; Bedáňová, Kamila (referee) ; Adamík, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on determining the effect of fatigue on physical activity, for this purpose, kinematic analysis was used. The measured exercise was a front squat, in which two measurements were made, one without the effect of fatigue and the other with the effect of fatigue. The two measurements were compared.
Manual pumps
Matis, Michal ; Šedivý, Dominik (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes manual pumps. It contains research about history of usage of these pumps, further it deals with some pumps used today (construction, materials, pros-cons). Also it is pointing out on pumps in developing countries, which are used in places with lack of drinking water. In practical part is described design procedure of pedal-powered pump.
Searching in AVL Trees in C Language
Mintěl, Tomáš ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Honzík, Jan M. (advisor)
This thesis engages in search in AVL tree. There are explained principles of researching methods. Consequently is in detail explained principle of utility AVL tree. The main aims of this thesis are transcribing non-recursive algorithms from Pascal to C language, create recursive analogies of this algorithms and create application for animated show of these operations.
Examples of hyperstatic beam solutions
Linhart, Lukáš ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This work will discuss the internal deformation and resulting effects in straight beams, which are stored statically certainly indefinitely. The aim of the thesis is to develop a representative summary of selected calculations and drawings, typically stored and loaded beams, solvable in linear elasticity rods. The next section describes the methods to solve statically indeterminate beam, Castiglian´s theorem, the equation of bending lines, the method of Clapeyron´s equations. Sample solution of these methods was performed on the illustrative example.
Applications of quaternions and Clifford algebras in robotics
Hujňák, Jaroslav ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (referee) ; Návrat, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on Clifford algebras and their subalgebras, quaternions and geometric algebra G(3, 1). The thesis describes teoretical basis of Clifford algebras, which is used in chapter dedicated to geometric algebra G(3, 1). Examples of applications geometric algebra G(3, 1) in robotic systems are shown by using transformations and objects of that algebra.
The administrative object in Brno
Muňko, Matej ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this work is a new administrative building in Brno, district Brno – Stred. The aim of this work is to create documentation for realization. Building has twelve floors, while every floor is rotated by 5° relative to the previous floor counterclokwise. Final rotation between the first and the last floor is 60°. On the first floor there is a restaurant, on the next eleven floors there are administrative spaces. Building is without basement and has a single-layer flat roof. The foundations are made from a system of piles, which co-work with the waterproof foundation slab. Whole construction system is made from cast-in-place reinforced conrete.
